HR Professionals

Kim Giangrande
SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP
I love my job. Every day I get to work with amazing companies helping them to build their business and increase profitability through the development of effective HR programs.
My background is a solid mix of customer service, operations, human resources & leadership. This is a critical differentiator for iHR that provides our clients with insights that go far beyond the basics.
Having served on several executive teams I have hands on experience in dealing with complex business challenges, creating successful strategic programs, and creating the teams and projects that effectively execute on these initiatives.
While I am very proud of my credentials and accomplishments, I believe deeply that it is my blue collar background and experiences that truly define me and my style. I have intentionally created the iHR culture to be a combination of books smarts and streets smarts. We believe in common sense approaches to resolving problems. We recognize that the world of HR & business is not black & white, but shades of gray. With this in mind we balance our knowledge of HR with the business needs of the organization. Give us a shot, you won’t regret it.

Stephanie Cheney
Human Resource Consultant
I'm an HR Consultant bringing 10 years of general human resources and recruiting experience to the team.
I have supported clients in a variety of industries including insurance, financial services, travel and retail in areas including employee relations, talent acquisition, internship program development and process improvement. Although I enjoy working within all areas of human resources, I am drawn to the world of employee relations due to the required delicate balance of legal, moral and ethical standards. Each situation is different and nothing is ever black and white!
I earned my Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Employee Relations from Penn State, and my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Vermont. I am currently studying to take the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification exam through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).
I have been lucky enough to find my passion within the world of human resources and am even luckier to have found an incredible company that shares that passion.

Ruwan Abeyesekera
Ruwan is a product and general management executive who has spent over ten years incubating mobile and cloud-computing businesses. His experience spans a diverse set of industries - ranging from location intelligence software to improve the targeting of mobile ads, to small business productivity tools, to vehicle management software to improve fuel efficiency for enterprise and municipal fleets. He is currently an independent consultant and advises several start-ups and non-profit on issues including organizational design, product development, marketing, and the use of analytics.
Previously, Ruwan held global responsibility for the software businesses of Neopost SA (a $50M portfolio of desktop, server and web applications that focused on small business collaboration as well as location intelligence solutions). He oversaw all aspects of product planning, user experience design and go-to-market strategy - turning around several floundering acquisitions and developing Neopost’s next generation platform and design strategy that delivered an end-to-end user experience across the firm’s hardware, software, and online products.
At Pitney Bowes, Ruwan reported directly to Chief Development Officer and was responsible for incubating new ventures and evaluating software investments in line with the firm’s transformation from mailing “box seller” to provider of integrated document management and information-based solutions. In 2000, he was a charter member of a small team that founded the company’s enterprise-focused software-as-a-service business.
Ruwan began his career developing decision support systems to improve the acquisition, cross-selling and retention efforts for a portfolio of e-commerce sites that targeted small business and home office consumers.
He holds a B.S. in Statistics, Operations Research and Finance from New York University where he was a Trustee Scholar.
